What's New in Geocortex IMF 5.2?

Included in Geocortex IMF 5.2 are a number of enhancements that make ArcIMS-powered Internet mapping applications even more powerful, intuitive and easy to deploy:

• All interface pages now support custom stylesheets (CSS), without resorting to HTML or JSP file editing on a large scale.
• The Geocortex IMF “Standard” viewer look-and-feel has been updated with improved color scheme, fonts, tabs and styling.
• Two templates that leverage CSS capabilities, that can serve as the basis for development; “Standard” (the classic IMF structure with a new skin) and “Basic” (a simplified basic interface) viewers.

• Dropdown lists are now supported in place of tabs for accessing tools and functions, and the Site Manager Advanced view allows for their configuration. (feature is viewable via the IMF 5.2 Standard Viewer link above.)
• WMS layer transparency level can be rendered dynamically via a layer config file setting, or from a new user interface tool accessed from the layer list.
• Users now have full control over the inclusion of layers and attributes within the map tips callout box.
• The hotlink tool has been modified to support configuration and to allow the simultaneous display of linked objects from all layers “drilled down” at a given point.
• Feedback spinner graphics are now configurable, allowing the user to style the included graphic or provide their own.
• Site Manager performance has been significantly enhanced, and the layer manager within Site Manager now allows for the global setting of properties across any number of attributes selected from a given layer.
